Gamer Network, the guys and girls behind Eurogamer have announced today that the 2015 expo will be held in Birmingham’s NEC from 24th to 27th September 2015.
Interestingly, they’ve mentioned their plans to offer discounted train and coach tickets for EGX attendees.
The full press release below:
The UK’s biggest games event, EGX is set to grow further as part of the move, which forms part of a multi-year deal.
Tickets will be frozen at this year’s prices, and there are plans to offer discounted train and coach tickets for EGX attendees.
We’re still catching our breath from this year’s event, which welcomed a record 75,000 of you lot through the doors of London’s Earl’s Court for the – sniff – last time.
“EGX has experienced amazing growth during our four years at Earl’s Court,” Gamer Network head honcho Rupert Loman explained.
“While we are sad to leave, we see the move to the NEC not only as a real opportunity to continue its success, but also to evolve and improve the experience we offer both attendees and exhibitors.”
